Local Businessman Shares How to Give Back
Gary York, a local entrepreneur from Pilot Mountain, spoke at the Winston Salem Regional Board of Realtors Luncheon yesterday. Mr. York, is the owner of York Oil, Neighbors Convenience Stores, Radio Station WIFM 100.9 in Elkin, NC, as well as other business interests. His topic was “Using Your Gifts”. The topic was very inspiring as he shared ways to give back to the community and build lasting relationships. Gary also reminded us all to do the small things extra-ordinarily well and good results will follow.
Winston Salem Dog Park – Washington Park
My dogs, like most, love going on walks. If they hear the leash or collars rattle, then it’s on! They are barking and jumping around like they are on a pogo stick. Dogs are allowed at all Winston Salem parks if they are on a leash. Washington Park, however, has a great dog park and you are allowed to “unleash” your pooch.
