My dogs, like most, love going on walks. If they hear the leash or collars rattle, then it’s on! They are barking and jumping around like they are on a pogo stick. Dogs are allowed at all Winston Salem parks if they are on a leash. Washington Park, however, has a great dog park and you are allowed to “unleash” your pooch.

Washington Dog Park is a great place to take your dog! Me and and my pup went for the first time the other day and she had a BLAST. She’s not even a very social or playful dog. She loves to explore new areas though and has an addiction to squirrels. She CLIMBED A TREE sniffing out a squirrel. If you love your dog and especially if you don’t have room for them to run, you need to try out Washington Park. I know we’ll be going back!
